We've teamed up with ALLPOWERS, who have supplied the R1500 Lite portable power station and SE200 200W folding solar panel for an independent, ongoing Just T4s review.

Portable power stations are an interesting option for campervans, particularly when you want extra power without permanently changing your electrical setup. But how useful are they in practice?

Over the coming weeks we'll be checking:

Mains charging times and actual power input.

Solar charging performance in typical UK conditions.

Practical running times with fridges, lighting and suitable camping equipment.

USB, laptop and appropriate 230V appliance use.

Battery consumption, fan noise, portability and everyday usability.

We'll add photographs, readings, observations and updates to this thread as testing progresses, including anything that doesn't work as well as expected.

Exclusive Just T4s member discount

ALLPOWERS has provided our community with 10% off the linked R1500 Lite + SE200 offer. Enter JUSTT4S at checkout and check the discount is applied.

What would you like us to test?

If you've used a portable power station in your T4, tell us how it performs. If you're considering one, what would you most want to know before spending the money? Add your questions below and we'll include suitable tests where possible.
