MEET Jupiter.
We bought our VW Transporter as a way to get out, explore and enjoy a few more adventures together. With my wife enduring an illness, traditional holidays haven’t always been easy, so having a camper gives us the freedom to get away when we can and, most importantly, make memories together. After four years of looking, researching and trying to decide which version of the VW Transporter would be right for us — along with a few disappointments and vehicles that didn’t quite work out — we finally made the decision. We set out to find ourselves a VW T4. It was never going to be just another van; it was about freedom, adventures and making the most of the time we have together — one journey and one memory at a time.
Jupiter is Jay’s White LWB Camper, with a 2.5 engine and Manual transmission.
WHAT’S BEEN DONE?
Current changes within my ownership include upgraded suspension to bring ride height, making it more accessible to my partner; installed a new dash and plastics; and various welding works.
WHY THIS T4?
The favourite part of owning our T4 isn’t the van itself, but the VW community — people willing to share advice and help each other. The memories created on trips and adventures are what make it special.
STILL ON THE LIST.
We plan to attend our first VW meet and campout, become more involved with the community and start work on finishing our Caddy trailer conversion to accompany the T4.
