My van’s in pretty good shape, but the windscreen and side windows on the cab are pretty scratched. I have two questions:
1. are these things easy to obtain and replace
2. Were there any “upgraded” options on these vans? Would Caravelle windscreen and windows, for example, have a factory tint?
Are the side windows the original velle ones in a frame? Up until a few years ago you could actually still buy them although not cheap from VW. You can however replace with aftermarket ones easily enough or you could even upgrade to insulated ones available from VW again not cheap.
Look at getting the windscreen polished if it’s only scratches, a few glass repair companies can do this.
@hellojust-t4s-org Some of the scratches I can feel with my nail, so probably too deep. The one right in my eye-line is quite annoying!
