This forum is here for T4 owners, enthusiasts, builders, traders and anyone with an interest in Volkswagen T4s. The aim is simple: useful information, proper discussion, helpful people and a community that isn’t ruined by spam, scams or unnecessary drama.
By using the forum, you agree to the following rules.
1. Be respectful
Debate is absolutely fine. Personal abuse, threats, harassment, discrimination or deliberately provoking other members is not.
Disagree with the post, not the person.
2. No spam or self-promotion everywhere
Don’t repeatedly advertise businesses, social media pages, YouTube channels, products or services across unrelated topics.
Genuine recommendations and relevant links are welcome when they actually help the discussion.
3. Buying, selling and trading
Sales posts must be placed in the correct marketplace/classified section and follow any rules shown there.
Misleading adverts, suspected scams, deliberately false descriptions or attempts to avoid marketplace rules may be removed.
Trusted Trader status does not mean Just T4s guarantees a transaction. Buyers and sellers remain responsible for carrying out their own checks.
4. Keep topics useful
Please post in the most appropriate forum and use a clear topic title.
Duplicate topics may be merged, moved or removed. Moderators may also rename unclear titles so information is easier for members to find later.
5. No illegal or obviously unsafe content
Do not use the forum to promote illegal activity, stolen goods, fraudulent activity or deliberately dangerous advice.
Technical discussion is encouraged, but members remain responsible for deciding whether work is within their own ability and whether professional advice is required.
6. Personal information
Don’t publish somebody else’s personal information, private messages, phone numbers, addresses or other private details without their permission.
7. Reporting problems
If you see a post that breaks the rules, use the Report option rather than starting an argument in the topic.
Admins and moderators can then review it properly.
8. Moderation
The Just T4s Admin and Moderator team may edit, move, close, merge or remove posts and topics where necessary to keep the forum organised and safe.
Depending on the situation, action may include:
• a friendly reminder
• a formal warning
• post or topic removal
• temporary restrictions
• suspension
• permanent removal from the community
Serious scams, threats, deliberate abuse or repeated rule breaking may result in immediate action without a previous warning.
9. Moderation decisions
Moderation isn’t based on who has been here longest, who knows an Admin, who has the nicest van or who shouts loudest.
If you believe a moderation decision is wrong, contact an Admin or Moderator privately rather than turning the forum thread into an argument about moderation.
10. Help make this a decent community
Nobody expects every member to agree on everything. That would be suspicious.
