Morning folks.
Finally got the back of the van in the air to tackle the brake lines and while I was there, I thought I’d have a look at the springs in the back. My T4 has obviously been lowered, I wondered how.
Now, I have removed one spring (which is in great condition by the way) and it’s labelled VDub Monkey Effin Low with 5s 1000 stamped on the top. Now, from what I can tell, these are Faulkner Springs with a 100mm drop. My issue is that I don’t think the supporting mods have been done alongside this.
I have seen the GMax shortened dampers at a reasonable price, my question is am I right that I’ll need a shorter damper and secondly, what can people recommend for this drop? I actually like the ride height, but want to make sure that the back end isn’t bouncy as hell where it is effectively sat on the spring where the damper is so compressed it isn’t doing squat
